Joe is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who has been with Pure Financial Advisors since 2018. As a Financial Planner for the firm, Joe works with clients to develop, implement, and monitor financial planning strategies that are tailored for their specific goals and objectives. Joe is passionate about educating clients in areas such as retirement cash flow planning, tax planning, investment planning, insurance planning, and estate planning. Prior to becoming a Financial Planner, Joe served as a Senior Financial Planning Strategist for Pure Financial Advisors, where he analyzed and constructed comprehensive financial plans for the firm’s clients.
Before he came to Pure Financial Advisors, Joe worked for an insurance brokerage firm for over 6 years. With a deep understanding of fixed life and annuity products, he provided education and guidance to advisors and their clients across the country on proper risk management techniques.
Joe graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2011, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. He then went on to obtain his Series 65 securities license in 2015, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2017, and then later obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation in 2020.
Originally from Metropolitan Detroit, Joe grew up with a passion for most sports, particularly hockey. He currently serves as a coach to a local amateur travel team. In his free time, Joe enjoys staying active and enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather.
