Pure is looking for qualified CFP’s to help with us meet the demand of potential clients that want to do business with our firm. Specifically, we are looking for individuals to work in the Planning department to support Advisors and help provide financial planning recommendations for our clients.

The Financial Planning Strategist position covers a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, supporting advisors in processing financial data to develop accurate, attractive, and professional reports and assisting advisors on creating financial planning recommendations (e.g. cash flow, risk management, estate planning, investments, and tax).

This position also requires a clear understanding of our client service process as well as financial planning and tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities:

This position will require a solid understanding of our client service process as well as financial planning and tax planning strategies. This position covers a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Supporting Advisors in processing financial data to develop accurate, attractive, and professional reports.
  • Assisting Advisors with creating financial planning recommendations (e.g., cash flow, risk management, estate planning, investments, and tax).

Job Duties:

  • Analyze and create financial plans by looking at client financial data (e.g., cash flow, risk management, estate planning, investments, and tax).
  • Partner with Advisors to determine appropriate financial planning recommendations.
  • Review tax, insurance, and estate planning documents.
  • Update financial plans for clients as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or similar field. Additional certifications and/or education are a plus.
  • CFP® designation required (or obtain CFP designation within 18 months of hire into position).
  • 5+ years of industry-related experience (preferred); however, two years of industry-related experience is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of retirement planning, cash flow, risk management, estate planning, investments, and tax estimation and minimization.
  • Competency utilizing software applications (eMoney, Morningstar, Excel, Salesforce CRM, Tamarac, etc.).

Competencies:

  • Ability to effectively and accurately complete detailed work with a sense of urgency.
  • Able to prioritize time and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to clients and others.
  • Ability to collaborate with others.
  • Capable of adapting to changing priorities, situations, and/or demands.

Additional Details:

  • Salary Range: $67,000-$80,000 (annualized).
