Michael Batnick is the director of research at Ritholtz Wealth Management, an RIA headquartered in New York City. He sits on the investment committee and is responsible for portfolio construction and in-house risk management strategies. Michael is the author of the Irrelevant Investor blog, where he aims to educate people about investing. Michael is the co-host of the weekly podcast, Animal Spirits with Ben Carlson. Michael is the author of a new book, Big Mistakes: The Best Investors and Their Worst Investments.
