Certified Financial Planner™
To use the CFP credential, the financial planner must successfully complete the CFP® Board's comprehensive examination which tests his or her knowledge on a number of key financial planning topics. The applicant must also have three to five years of related experience, voluntarily ascribe to the board's code of ethics and complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years pertaining to such relevant topics as estate and retirement planning, investment management, tax planning and insurance.
Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a postgraduate degree that is awarded to students who have mastered the study of business. This prestigious degree is thought to be one of the most sought after degrees in the world. Most MBA programs include a "core" curriculum of subjects, such as accounting, economics, marketing, and operations, as well as elective courses that allow participants to follow their own personal or professional interests.
Accredited Investment Fiduciary
The AIF® designation is the first and only designation that demonstrates knowledge and competency in the area of fiduciary responsibility. Holders must successfully pass an exam, sign and adhere to a written code of ethics and complete four hours of continuing education credits each year. AIF® designees have a reputation in the industry as being the best positioned to implement a prudent process into their own investment practices, as well as being able to assist others in implementing proper policies and procedures.

Mike Pash

Mike has been assisting families with personal financial planning for more than 20 years. Mike is a MBA graduate from Pepperdine University, and successfully earned the CFP® certification in 2003 after completing the educational course requirement at UC Irvine.

Mike’s experience includes three years as an Investment Advisor with a leading Wall Street investment firm, and most recently 12 years as President of a private wealth management firm in Irvine, CA.

Mike believes that investing and financial planning is much more than pie charts and investment products. Designing a personal financial plan to address the issues and concerns unique to your family is critical to achieving long term “Financial Peace of Mind”.

An advocate for financial education, Mike is a certified instructor, teaching Retirement Planning strategies at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA.

Mike enjoys being active in the community, having served on non-profit boards and volunteered as a little league baseball manager for many years in Orange County. Mike, his wife Olivia and their two puppies reside in Newport Beach, CA.
