Matt Gray is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy® who serves as a Financial Planner for Pure Financial Advisors. He has been helping clients pursue their ideal lives since 2013 and really enjoys simplifying complex financial ideas so people are empowered by their money instead of intimidated by it. He has expertise in a variety of financial disciplines including retirement planning, estate planning, and investments, but he has a particular passion for helping those who want to give charitably.
Matt has spent most of his career at boutique financial planning firms in Denver, where he currently resides, but also served as a Financial Advisor at Personal Capital for years. He has enjoyed his experience working with many types of clients in his career including very wealthy, to just starting out, and everyone in between. He has previously held the Series 6 and Series 63 Licenses.
Matt graduated from Fresno State in 2013 having double majored in Finance and Economics. He also supports multiple non-profits in his free time including The National Kidney Foundation and Junior Achievement as those two are very close to his heart.
Outside of work, you can find Matt cycling to the grocery store while listening to jazz or hip-hop on the hunt for delicious ingredients. Though he is an obvious amateur, he loves cooking, sipping wines, and playing a bit of golf while the sun is out.
