
BIOGRAPHY
Since 1990, Matt has been providing comprehensive financial planning strategies to individuals and small to mid-sized businesses. From 1999 to 2021, he worked at Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch, and UBS consulting to thousands of financial advisors throughout the Midwest on Retirement Planning and Retirement Income Strategies.
Matt holds a degree in Economics from Southern Methodist University and the professional certification, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®). The latter was achieved through a combination of meeting rigorous professional standards and passing a comprehensive examination from the College for Financial Planning.
A collegiate student-athlete, Matt played for the SMU Mustang soccer team. He was also named to the U.S. Men’s National Team Pool and served as a coach in the Olympic Development Program. Soccer remains an important part of his life and Matt now volunteers as the goalkeeping coach at his former high school in Evanston, IL.
Matt and his wife, Lisa, live in Glenview, Illinois and their two adult children also live and work in the Chicagoland area.
