BIOGRAPHY
Marc Horner serves as a Principal at Pure Financial Advisors, LLC (Pure). For the 10 years prior to joining Pure, Marc founded and led Fairhaven Wealth Management. Over those 10 years, Fairhaven was recognized for its growth, culture, creativity, and community involvement. Among the many accolades received by Fairhaven, Marc is most proud of being named one of the nation’s best employers as an Inc. Magazine Best Workplaces honoree…not once but three consecutive years (2022, 2023, and 2024). Prior to Fairhaven, Marc was a financial advisor with big Wall Street firms (the “wirehouses”) for a total of 14 years. In 2023, Marc was named an “RIA Intel Rising Star” by Institutional Investor (received in his 23rd year in the business, that recognition proves some stars take longer to rise than others).
His education includes an undergraduate degree in economics from North Park University, a certificate in investment management from the University of Pennsylvania—Wharton School of Business, and a certificate in wealth management from the University of Chicago—Booth School of Business. Marc also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. He has been a trusted media resource on radio, television, and podcasts.
A collegiate All-American in basketball, Marc now enjoys golfing, cooking, boating, and wearing a kilt as a bagpiper with The Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band in Chicago. Marc and his wife, Christine, live in Wheaton, Illinois, and have four children.
