Kurt Anderson

Kurt Anderson is a Senior Financial Advisor with Pure Financial Advisors.  Since 2001, he has been providing comprehensive financial planning services to individuals. His area of experience includes retirement planning, investment management, employee pensions, and retirement benefits.

Kurt joined Pure Financial when they acquired Fairhaven Wealth Management in 2025.  Prior to Fairhaven, Kurt advised his clients for nearly ten years at Voyage Financial Group and six years at Wayne Messmer & Associates. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from North Park University and has held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification since 2012.

He proudly serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Endeavor Swedish Hospital on Chicago’s North Side and a Director since 2007.  Swedish Hospital is a non-profit, full-service teaching hospital, with over 50 medical specialties, 312 licensed beds, and an annual budget of $635 million.  For over 135 years, the hospital has served one of the most diverse zip codes in the country, and over 40 languages are spoken by the doctors and patients.

Kurt and his wife Denee have three wonderful daughters in college and high school. Outside the office, they enjoy traveling to National Parks, golfing, skiing, tennis, and cheering on the Cubs and Bears.  Kurt also loves the challenge of hiking some of Colorado’s highest peaks.
