Joseph Schaaf

Joseph is committed to providing comprehensive financial education; a passion he carries into his role as an Associate Advisor. As a fiduciary, he prioritizes empowering clients to make informed and confident financial decisions. Joseph earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification following his graduation from San Diego State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services. Prior to his current role, he served as a Senior Financial Planning Strategist at Pure Financial, specializing in cash flow modeling, tax planning, investment management, insurance analysis, and estate planning.

Furthering his dedication to financial education, Joseph serves as President-Elect of the Financial Planning Association’s NexGen group in San Diego.

Originally from the college town of Davis in Northern California, Joseph moved to San Diego in 2017 and has since embraced the area as home. He enjoys outdoor activities, particularly golfing and skiing, and values spending his leisure time backpacking the California Wilderness.
