BIOGRAPHY
John is a Chicago native and graduate from Western Illinois University in Macomb Illinois. He embarked on his career in the Marketing, Advertising, and Media industry in 1991, where he has successfully driven revenue and managed successful long relationships. A majority of his career was spent with Publicis Media and AMC Networks working with Fortune 500 companies in primarily broadcast, digital and audio. John is committed to applying his skills at Pure Financial in Business Development, putting the client’s best interest first and working with his team to be successful.
In is free time, John holds an Illinois Realtor ® License and is the Club Administrator at his and his children’s high school alma mater Fenwick high School in Oak Park IL. John started the first Chicagoland HS Bagpipe Club at Fenwick HS in 2022. He teaches the instrument and enjoys watching his students play at school events, weddings, parades, and sports games. A passionate musician, John is also a long-standing member and retired Pipe Major of The Shannon Rovers Bagpipe Band, which he joined in 1994. A bagpiping career highlight of John’s was performing in a 15-city tour with the play Last Out: Elegy of a Green Beret, produced by Gary Sinise and the GSF in 2023-24.
John married his wife, Cindy, in 1995 and together they raised three kids and reside in Elmhurst IL. Cindy and two of the children work in the medical field and their other child is a 2nd Lt in the USAF. The combined family has FOUR ‘doodles’ (Berma, Labra & Golden).
