Hassan Farran

As Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Hassan leads and continues to build Pure Financial Advisors’ FP&A function, serving as a finance leader and trusted partner to the executive team across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-support as Pure continues to grow and scale.

Hassan brings 15 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, including more than 10 years across financial services and fintech lending. Prior to joining Pure, he was at Octane Lending, a fintech embedded-lending platform, where he helped drive growth by partnering with leadership on pricing, forecasting, and go-to-market strategy. Before that, he spent several years at Truist Bank, where he led FP&A for its LightStream lending business, driving business valuation and performance analysis, and rebuilding the group’s core reporting and financial models to support growth.

Hassan received his MBA and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance, both from San Diego State University. A San Diego resident for more than 20 years, he enjoys staying active, hiking, and exploring all that the city has to offer.
