Blaine Thiederman, a dedicated and seasoned financial advisor at Pure Financial Advisors, brings over a decade of rich experience in the finance industry, having been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2018. With an MBA emphasizing finance from Grand Canyon University and a bachelor’s in finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business, Blaine has honed his expertise in helping clients navigate the complexities of financial planning.

Before joining Pure Financial Advisors, Blaine owned and operated his independent RIA, serving a select group of high-net-worth individuals and business owners. His diverse background includes foundational roles at Fisher Investments’ Financial Planning group, Edelman Financial Engines, Scottrade, and USAA, where he developed a deep understanding of retirement planning, tax planning, cash flow management, behavior change, and estate planning.

Blaine’s approach to financial planning is deeply personal. He begins by understanding his clients’ hopes, dreams, and concerns, ensuring the financial plan is as unique as they are. Specializing in retirement planning, tax planning, and investment management, Blaine is passionate about making these critical areas of finance accessible and understandable. His goal is to simplify the path toward retirement, aligning investments with clients’ goals, values, aspirations, and needs while managing taxes and reducing risks.

His personal mission in the financial planning industry was shaped by witnessing his grandfather’s financial struggles due to poor investment advice. This experience instilled in Blaine a commitment to providing expert guidance to help clients avoid life-altering financial mistakes.

Outside of his professional life, Blaine is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys exploring the Colorado mountains, mountain biking in Golden, and visiting local breweries with his Golden Doodle, Lucy. He is also a cooking aficionado, constantly experimenting with new recipes.
