Alex Weathers

As Data Solutions Manager, Alex is responsible for managing data infrastructure and analytics reporting at Pure Financial.  His duties include maintaining Pure Financial’s data warehouse, creating new data pipelines, and building analytics tools for various stakeholders.

Prior to Pure Financial, Alex was the Chief Data Scientist at Entrustody, a startup focused on asset custody services and insights reporting for advisory firms.  Prior to that position, Alex consulted on analytics and data science matters across a range of industries.

Alex received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University, where he published research on using machine learning to identify patterns in data.  He lives in Massachusetts and enjoys reading, rooting for the local sports teams, and spending time with his family and dogs.
