Pure Financial Advisors, LLC is looking for a Head of Data & Analytics (Director of Data) to oversee the entire data strategy and data operations, including data collection, storage, analysis, and governance. This position will be responsible for ensuring data quality to extract actionable insights, provide the organization with the information it needs when it needs it, and drive business decisions based on data-driven insights. This position will collaborate very closely across all departments to identify data needs and implement solutions to meet them.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy Development: Defining the overall data strategy, setting data quality standards, defining the roadmap of data needed to drive value (increased sales, increased quality, increased efficiency across departments), and establishing data governance policies to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Data Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes. Ensuring data security and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
  • Data Visualization: Creating compelling data visualizations to communicate complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Vendor management: Work with key business vendors to integrate their data as well as outsourced vendors

Qualifications:

  • Prior financial services experience (minimum of 2 years of experience) in the financial services industry is required
  • Strong technical expertise: Proficient understanding of data warehousing, data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
  • Business acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Previous experience working in an RIA is preferred, and experience with Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Envestnet/Tamarac, Salesforce, and e-money is preferred.
  • Time management and self-direction: Able to work independently with little supervision. Willing to take initiative and be proactive. Ability to multitask and prioritize fluctuating workloads. Capable of managing time and handling multiple demands and competing priorities and adjusting accordingly.

 Additional Details:

  • Salary Range: $150,000-$220,000

Schedule/Work Setting:

  • A hybrid schedule is preferred; however, we are open to this being a hybrid, in-office, or remote position.
