Client Services plays a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and driving business growth. We are looking for candidates that will help us further our mission of providing financial education and planning to those who need it.

The Client Services Associate (aka Client Services Specialist) position’s primary focus is ensuring that the proper paperwork required for opening, transferring, and managing assets is prepared, entered, and expedited correctly and efficiently as well as to provide outstanding customer service and client support. This position interacts with clients as well as Financial Advisors and acts as a liaison with other departments such as Investment Management and Planning to fulfill client onboarding and client servicing requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare applications, transfer paperwork & agreements
  • Review paperwork to ensure documents are complete and submit to custodians, as needed
  • Enter client information and data into Salesforce (new account information, set service cases, etc.)
  • Fulfill additional client servicing requests such as Wire or ACH funds, check requests or any other document requests
  • Assist clients with online access to view accounts or plans, as well as rollover calls and other transfer-related steps
  • Handle client households and prepare any necessary paperwork or agreements in preparation of upcoming meetings
  • Update eMoney planning software with changes (e.g., transfers, new accounts, money movement)
  • Upload documents into on-line storage website (e.g., Egnyte)
  • Research and provide solutions to any issues that arise throughout the handling of client support and servicing
  • May be required obtain notary credentials at some point following hire.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or similar field
  • Prior financial planning experience or the financial services industry knowledge (previous experience in account management within the financial services industry is preferred)
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize fluctuating workloads. Capable of managing time and handling multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to clients or others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experienced user of Fidelity Wealthscape and/or Charles Schwab Institutional preferred
  • Salesforce CRM and/or eMoney financial planning software experience is a plus

Additional Details:

  • Salary Range: $50,000-$75,000 (annualized)
