Senay Hagos

Senay is an IRS Enrolled Agent with over a decade of tax experience. He began his tax career in 2012 preparing individual tax returns. He developed a passion for helping people understand and navigate the complexities of the tax code. Senay’s career progressed into tax research at H&R Block, where he managed a nationwide team of over 1,000 virtual agents who provided real-time virtual support to clients across the country.

He’s lived in San Diego almost his whole life, earning his BA from San Diego State University.  He has always been driven by a strong commitment to client education and service. He looks forward to applying his experience to assist Pure Financial clients by clearly explaining tax scenarios and helping them make informed decisions that align with their broader financial goals as a Tax Planner.

Outside of his professional life, he’s deeply rooted in the San Diego community. Senay spends a significant amount of time volunteering and participating in community events. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family, relaxing at the beach, exploring new destinations through travel, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills and San Diego Padres.
