BIOGRAPHY

Adam Sibenaller is originally from Owatonna, MN where he was born and raised. He attended college at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where he studied Personal, Cultural, and Human Communications with a minor in Ethnic Studies. When he graduated, he moved to Salt Lake City, UT for two years to complete his Master’s in Educational Leadership & Policy at the University of Utah. Adam first began his professional career in 2014 working in residential life operations at local universities such as San Diego State University and UC San Diego for 8 years before deciding it was time to switch career fields. Adam gained valuable experience in recruitment techniques and training development for staff teams at a variety of levels, which highlights his passion for building meaningful connections with the people he works with.

In his free time, Adam loves to try new restaurants, be a part of San Diego’s amazing food scene, he’s a lover of roller coasters and amusement parks, frequently spends time at the ocean kayaking or catching some sun, swims laps on San Diego’s local LGBTQIA+ swim team, is often seeing the latest movies or binge-worthy tv shows and every summer volunteers with San Diego Comic-Con. Adam is also passionate about community advocacy, social justice, and is a trained restorative justice facilitator.
